OIL FILTER RECYCLING FOR OIL AND METAL
Throwing your filters in the trash may still be legal, however it is not the most environmentally friendly thing to do. Throwing your filters in a collection drum, and having them turned into blocks of clean scrap metal is sound and environmentally friendly.
Our recycling process produces 10 to 20 pound blocks of steel, #1 mill grade. These blocks are smelted and produce a recycled steel product used to manufacture manhole covers, rebar and other non-structural steel products.
The oil that is extracted during the recycling process is made into fuel oil which is used in manufacturing. Even by the smelting plant to fire that furnace that smelts the steel.
Our simple program provides a safe and environmentally friendly way to minimize your environmental exposure while keeping costs down. Many steps are taken so as not to have any of this process end up in a landfill
